Mustard Seed students sending URGENT help to disaster area

This just in from our Director in Indonesia:

Mount Bromo has been erupting. The result? About fifty houses have been destroyed. A team of students from one of our High Schools put together some emergency aid kits. They traveled to the disaster area to give the kids to a local pastor for distribution to the families.

The whole village is covered with thick ash. Here is a photo was taken by one of the students yesterday.

Huge Mustard Seed Benefit Yard Sale

Great garage sale success… at the end of the day all the barter and bargaining resulted in topping up the scholarship fund by $1,680.  More than enough to send four children to school.  Congratulations to the garage sale team.  You’ve made a huge difference in four young lives.

We’re having a day to turn fun and usable items into scholarships! That way, more Indonesian kids get to go to school.
